Subaru Fuel Pump Update
This bulletin applies to 2021-2024 Subaru Legacy and Outback, 2017-2024 Impreza and Crosstrek and 2017-2024 Forester vehicles. A design change has been made to the high pressure fuel pump to prevent DTC P0087 (fuel rail/system pressure too low Bank 1). The performance of the internal discharge valve of the pump has been optimized to help prevent any unstable fuel pressure caused by engine vibrations. If this DTC is found to be detected by the ECM, the high pressure fuel pump will require replacement. Use fuel pump part number 16625AA190.
