Completing Toyota exhaust weld

Some 2016-2019 Toyota Tacoma vehicles equipped with a 2GR-FKS engine may exhibit a MIL with DTC P013A00 and/or P013C00 due to an incomplete weld around the front exhaust pipe assembly.

Some 2016-2019 Toyota Tacoma vehicles equipped with a 2GR-FKS engine may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P013A00 and/or P013C00 (O2 slow response) due to an incomplete weld around the front exhaust pipe assembly (either bank).

Inspect the front exhaust pipe for incomplete weld (exhaust leak) around the O2 boss and flanges. If a leak is found due to an incomplete weld, replace the front exhaust pipe and gaskets. Clear DTCs and confirm the repair.
