This bulletin applies to 2023-2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 vehicles. Some customers may comment that after a stop/start event, several warning messages and MILs are illuminated and that there is a loss of brake assist. When checking for DTCs, P0562 and P0606 will be set in the K160 brake system control module.

The cause of this concern is a drop in voltage below a predetermined threshold to the brake system control module when the engine restarts. Test the vehicle’s 12V battery and reprogram the K160 module with the latest software.
