This bulletin applies to 2020-2024 Buick Encore GX vehicles built prior to April 2, 2024. A squeal noise may be heard from the front brakes during light pedal application. The condition may be caused by first applying the brakes after a period of non-use, or cold brakes and/or in high humidity conditions.

A new service brake pad kit has been released and is available as P/N 42881020 or 42881024 depending on the specific vehicle.
