Owners of 2025 BMW vehicles may report that the Central Information Display (CID) side of the multifunction display flickers once on and off. The flickering may not be continuous but may occur once every 15 to 50 seconds. No fault code may be stored. The cause is “unfavorable software” in the head unit. If the I-level is lower than 25-03-550, reprogram to I-level 25-03-550 or higher using ISTA 4.53.2x or higher.
