This bulletin applies to 2022-2025 RAM ProMaster and 2015-2022 ProMaster City vehicles equipped with a 9-speed 948TE automatic transmission. The MIL may be on with DTC P1DB7-00 (torque converter clutch performance) set. The cause is a misalignment of the reaction shaft. The DTC sets for one of the following reasons:

• The difference between the actual slip and target slip of the torque converter clutch (TCC) is greater than a calibrated threshold for an amount of time.
• The DTC is set if the failure has occurred twice and the input shaft measurement is larger than 0.027mm (0.001 inch).

An updated service kit is available via P/N 68732959AB (service kir, reaction shaft). The service kit is only applicable when the input shaft side-to-side measurement is larger than 0.001 inch.
