This bulletin applies to 2018-2020 Ram ProMaster vehicles equipped with a 3.6L V6 VVT engine and a 6-speed automatic 62TE transmission. The customer may experience a MIL on. The technician may find one or more of the following DTCs stored:

P0731 (gear ratio error in 1st)

P0732 (gear ratio error in 2nd)

P083B (LC pressure switch rationality)

P0841 (L/R pressure switch rationality)

P0868 (line pressure low)

Using a scan tool, verify all related systems are functioning as designed. Address and remedy any DTCs not related to the transmission issue. Reprogram the ABS with the latest available software. Clear all DTCs and road test.
