TSB: Cadillac Transmission Slipping

This bulletin applies to 2023 Cadillac XT5 and XT6 vehicles equipped with an M3W transmission. Customers may complain about a grinding noise, slipping transmission and/or no movement when shifted to Drive or Reverse.

This condition may be caused by the left side axle not being fully seated in the transmission. Remove the transmission and replace the front differential carrier sun gear P/N 24290255 and the left side axle 84990738.
