TSB: Jaguar ADAS

This bulletin applies to 2022 Jaguar XF/ XE and I-PACE vehicles. JLR has had reports of no power steering assist at the start of a drive cycle. An advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) warning message appears on the instrument panel and DTC U0400-81 is set on the driver assistance domain controller (DADC). The cause is a software error.

Do not replace any parts before completing the following steps:

1. Run the network integrity test (NIT) vehicle application.
2. Run the power steering control module (PSCM) data collection module application.
3. Complete the 12V battery reset....disconnect and reconnect the 12V battery.
4. Confirm that the fault is resolved. If not, continue diagnosis using TOPix support.
