TSB: Nissan Brake Switch

This bulletin applies to 2019-2022 Nissan Altima, 2022 Frontier, 2019-2022 Murano, 2022 Pathfinder and 2019-2022 Titan/Titan XD vehicles. DTC C1142 (PRESS SEN CIRCUIT) and/or C1116 (Stop Lamp SW) may be stored if the stop lamp switch and/or brake pedal position switch are out of adjustment. Before replacing any parts for these codes, confirm that the stop lamp switch and the brake pedal position switch are properly adjusted. Refer to the service manual for adjustment procedures.
