Again drive between one to five mph while turning the steering wheel between ¼ turn and full lock. If the noise persists, replace the front driveshaft using new driveshaft bolts.

Start the engine. With the 4WD system in 2WD mode and in a safe area, drive the truck between one to five mph while turning the steering wheel between ¼ turn and full lock. If the noise is evident, then place the system into 4WD high mode. Again drive between one to five mph while turning the steering wheel between ¼ turn and full lock. If the noise persists, replace the front driveshaft using new driveshaft bolts.
