Fixing Nissan no start problem

This bulletin applies to 2014 Nissan Versa Sedan and Versa Note vehicles with crank/no-start issues.

This bulletin applies to 2014 Nissan Versa Sedan and Versa Note vehicles with crank/no-start issues.

If the vehicle was exposed to below-freezing temperatures, then started and driven a short distance, then parked with the engine off and allowed to sit for at least 10 minutes, the engine may crank but will not start. 

One or both of the following ETC (electronic throttle control) related DTCs may be found in the ECM:

P2100 (ETC MOT PWR-B1)

P2101 (ETC FNCTN/CIRC-B1)

Replace the intelligent power distribution module (IPDM) with the unit appropriate for the specific vehicle as follows:

Standard ignition ...................284B7-1HR5A

Push-button ignition..............284B7-1HR6B
