Replace Jeep Paddle Shifters

    This bulletin applies to 2014-2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with a 6.2L supercharged Hemi V8 or the 6.4L V8 SRT Hemi engine.

    If this condition is found, replace both the left and right paddle shifters. The right side (up shift) paddle shifter is P/N 5RQ08DX9AD. The left side (downshift) paddle is P/N 5RQ09DX9AD.
    If this condition is found, replace both the left and right paddle shifters. The right side (up shift) paddle shifter is P/N 5RQ08DX9AD. The left side (downshift) paddle is P/N 5RQ09DX9AD.

    This bulletin applies to 2014-2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with a 6.2L supercharged Hemi V8 or the 6.4L V8 SRT Hemi engine. When trying to upshift using the paddle shifter on the steering wheel, the transmission may downshift instead.

    If this condition is found, replace both the left and right paddle shifters. The right side (up shift) paddle shifter is P/N 5RQ08DX9AD. The left side (downshift) paddle is P/N 5RQ09DX9AD. Replacement time is about 0.7 hours.
