If this condition is found, replace both the left and right paddle shifters. The right side (up shift) paddle shifter is P/N 5RQ08DX9AD. The left side (downshift) paddle is P/N 5RQ09DX9AD.
This bulletin applies to 2014-2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with a 6.2L supercharged Hemi V8 or the 6.4L V8 SRT Hemi engine. When trying to upshift using the paddle shifter on the steering wheel, the transmission may downshift instead.
