Jeep Is Stuck in Park

This bulletin applies to 2015 Jeep Renegade vehicles built on or before Sept. 30, 2015, and equipped with a 9-speed transmission. The customer may not be able to shift the transmission out of the Park position while the engine is running at idle and the brake pedal is applied.

Cycling the ignition key off and restarting the engine will allow shifting. During diagnosis, DTC P0606-00 control module processor. Re-flashing the ESM with the latest software will correct this concern.
