Autel releases MaxiHVAC AC909, designed to revive HVAC diagnostics
Autel has announced the release of the MaxiHVAC AC909, a 4-port manifold system designed to bring understanding and precision back to HVAC diagnostics. According to Autel, the AC909 combines advanced technology, intelligent workflow, and true system insight to restore the art of vehicle climate diagnostics and servicing.
With the AC909, Autel's goal is to go back to a time when vehicle technicians had mastered the precision tools and diagnostic methods now common in commerical HVAC service. Current HVAC diagnostics have been simplified to the point of reducing the technicians role to a button-pusher. Autel claims these new practices offer surface-level reading, missing the complexities between pressure, temperatures, and electronic controls. The AC909 is meant to change this, giving technicians explanations for every test, function, and the precise tools needed to diagnose and fix problems.
