Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling 844,027 vehicles: model year 2026 Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator, Compass, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L, Grand Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer L; 2026 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Ram ProMaster and Ram ProMaster EV; 2026 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid and Chrysler Voyager; and 2026–2027 Chrysler Pacifica and Dodge Charger. The rearview camera image may fail to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 111, “Rear Visibility.”

A rearview camera image that fails to display reduces the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Because the fault sits in the radio software rather than the camera or its wiring, a technician chasing a no-image complaint on one of these vehicles should confirm the software level before condemning hardware.

Radio software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge.

Lucid USA, Inc. is recalling 27,185 model year 2022–2026 Air vehicles. The exterior lighting circuit may have insufficient overcurrent protection, allowing the circuit to overheat.

An overheated circuit increases the risk of a fire. A loss of the center brake light or the front lights can also decrease visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Owners are advised to park their vehicle outside and away from structures until the recall remedy is completed.

Lucid has released an over-the-air (OTA) software update, free of charge.

Kia America, Inc. is recalling 21,290 model year 2025–2026 EV9 vehicles. Due to improper routing, the Occupant Detection System (ODS) may not deactivate the air bag when a child or child seat is in the front passenger seat. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.”

A child in the front seat may be at a greater risk of injury if the air bag deploys during a crash.

Dealers will inspect and replace the ODS mat and bladder tube with a new one and ensure proper routing as necessary, free of charge.

An incorrect suspension knuckle may not perform as expected, possibly resulting in a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace the front suspension knuckles, free of charge.
