Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling 74,578 vehicles: model year 2021–2023 Dodge Durangos. The rear spoiler may not be aligned properly with the roof, which can allow the spoiler to be damaged during normal liftgate use.

A damaged rear spoiler may detach from the vehicle and create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

This is the third campaign covering the condition. Vehicles in this recall were previously recalled under 21V842 or 23V115, and vehicles already repaired under those campaigns still need the new repair performed.

The remedy is currently under development. Repairs will be performed free of charge once the remedy is released.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling 27,720 vehicles: model year 2022–2026 840i and 840i xDrive, 2021–2023 540i, 540i xDrive, and M550i xDrive, and 2024–2026 750e xDrive vehicles. The connection between the driveshaft and the rear differential may become damaged.

A damaged connection can result in a loss of power to the rear wheels or a vehicle rollaway. An unexpected loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash, and a damaged driveshaft can allow the vehicle to roll away if the parking brake is not applied, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Dealers will inspect the connection between the driveshaft and the rear axle differential and either apply adhesive or replace the driveshaft and rear axle differential, as necessary, free of charge.

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling 149 vehicles: model year 2025 Altimas. The front passenger air bag and front passenger knee air bag may have been installed with incorrect mounting fasteners.

Incorrect fasteners can cause the air bags not to deploy as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

Dealers will replace the air bag mounting fasteners, free of charge.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling six vehicles: model year 2026 Explorers equipped with the 2.3L engine. The engine connecting rod bearings may seize, which can result in engine failure.

Engine failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. Bearing failure may also breach the engine block and allow oil to leak, increasing the risk of a fire.

Dealers will replace the engine long blocks, free of charge.

General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling eight vehicles: model year 2024–2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and GMC Sierra 2500 trucks equipped with the enhanced towing option and the 20-inch accessory tire and wheel package. The tire information label may state the incorrect rear tire pressure.

An incorrect label can leave the rear tires underinflated and prevent the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) from displaying a low tire pressure warning. Driving on underinflated tires increases the risk of a crash.

Dealers will inspect the vehicle, update the engine control module (ECM) software, apply a tire label overlay, inflate the tires to the correct pressure, and perform a TPMS relearn as necessary, free of charge.
