Jeep: 2023 and 2025 Grand Cherokee 4xe & 2024 and 2025 Wranger 4xe
Jeep is recalling 112,859 plug-in hybrid SUVs that might have leftover casting sand in their engine.
These SUVs could eventually need a full engine replacement due to the sand. The leftover sand can be catastrophic to internal engine components. It could either lead to engine failure or even create a vehicle fire.
Toyota: 2025-2026 Camry & Toyota Corolla Cross-Hybrid
Toyota has recalled 55,405 vehicles because they may have a loose bolt inside an inverter that sends power from the battery to the electric motor.
This can lead to a stop in power delivery, activating a limp mode, or even leaving the car motionless.
BMW: 2014-2015 2-,3-, and 4-Series
BMW is recalling 851 vehicles due to a potential issue with the head air bag inflator.
According to the recall notice, the head air bag inflator may fail at a weld joint. If this happens gas could leak from the inflator, leading to reduced air bag inflation in a crash. In more severe cases, the inflator could rupture and send metal fragments into the vehicle.
Volkswagen & Porsche
Volkswagen Group of America, including its Audi subsidiary, is recalling 356,649 vehicles in the U.S. due to a software error.
This error can lead to problems displaying the rearview camera image.
This follows a recall from Porsche, the German auto group's luxury subsidiary Porsche P911_p. DE, of 173,538 vehicles in the U.S. also due to a rearview camera problem.
