TSB: Lincoln Corsair Oil Cooler Leak
Lincoln Corsair Oil Cooler Leak
Some 2022-2023 Lincoln Corsair vehicles equipped with a 2.5L engine and built September 1, 2022 through April 6, 2023 may exhibit a low coolant level with engine oil in coolant and/or coolant in the oil. This may be caused by an internal oil cooler leak. Remove the oil cooler and drain oil and coolant from the oil cooler. Cap one port of the cooler using a cap or plug. Connect a rubber-tipped blow gun to shop air regulated 10 15 psi and insert the tip into the other oil cooler port. Completely submerge the oil cooler in water and apply shop air to the cooler for 10 seconds. If air bubbles continually escape from the oil passages around he oil filter or cylinder block mating areas, replace the oil cooler.
