Some 2012-2014 Lincoln Navigator vehicles may exhibit coolant loss from the coolant expansion tank cap.

Some 2012-2014 Lincoln Navigator vehicles may exhibit coolant loss from the coolant expansion tank cap.

  1. Flush the cooling system.
  2. Replace the thermostat and radiator cap during the flush procedure.
  3. Remove the coolant expansion tank.
  4. Thoroughly clean the tank using fresh water.
  5. Reinstall the expansion tank.
  6. Fill and bleed the cooling system (use distilled water as part of the mix)

Install thermostat P/N 7L3Z-8575-D and gasket P/N F1VY-8255-A.
