Some 2012-2014 Lincoln Navigator vehicles may exhibit coolant loss from the coolant expansion tank cap.
- Flush the cooling system.
- Replace the thermostat and radiator cap during the flush procedure.
- Remove the coolant expansion tank.
- Thoroughly clean the tank using fresh water.
- Reinstall the expansion tank.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system (use distilled water as part of the mix)
Install thermostat P/N 7L3Z-8575-D and gasket P/N F1VY-8255-A.
