This bulletin applies to 2021-2022 BMW Sports Activity Coupe, 2 Series Gran Coupe and X1 Sports Activity vehicles. During load reversal or taking off from a stop, you may hear a creaking noise from the lower engine area. The bushing in the lower engine stabilizer link may be working its way out of its aluminum housing, and the housing starts to rub against the engine oil pan.  If this is confirmed, replace the stabilizer link. The improved replacement link needs to be index 02 or higher (see photo).
