Land Rover: Too Much Air?

This bulletin applies to 2023 Land Rover Discovery Sport, Defender, New Range Rover, and New Range Rover Evoque vehicles.
Nov. 12, 2025

This bulletin applies to 2023 Land Rover Discovery Sport, Defender, New Range Rover, and New Range Rover Evoque vehicles. When the vehicle is first started, PDC park assist is fully operational (objects are detected and shown visibly on the PIVI HMI and audibly through the speakers). Once the vehicle reaches 10 mph, a red box appears around the bird’s eye view on the PIVI HMI, indicating that PDC has degraded. However, the surround camera (bird’s eye view) continues to operate as designed. PDC audio warnings will not sound while in a degraded state with the red box. If the vehicle speeds up above 10 mph, the red box disappears (as required because PDC is off) but returns when the vehicle slows back down below 16 kph. This remains for the ignition cycle and is only “healed” after another cold start.

The cause may be that the tires are over-inflated to over 58 psi. Check that the tires are inflated to specification.
