This bulletin applies to 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Velar R-Dynamic S vehicles.

Click noise may be heard on full-left or full-right lock at low speed. The noise is originating at the front wheel hub area. Brake disc to wheel hub flexing during cornering loads allows stick-slip movement of the disc along the wheel hub center flange (Land Rover refers to this is the “wheel hub spigot”).

    1. Remove the front wheels.

    2. Remove the brake rotors.

    3. Clean the hub “spigot” area.

    4. Apply Molykote grease (MOLYKOTE Cu-7439 Plus Paste or equivalent anti-seize compound to the hub area. Avoid applying grease on the wheel hub nut threads or the wheel stud threads.

    5. Check that wheel nuts have free-spinning captive washers. If not, replace the affected wheel nuts.

    6. Reinstall the rotors and wheels. Torque the wheel nuts to specification.
