This bulletin applies to 2018 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport equipped with a dynamic response roll bar. According to Land Rover, it has become apparent that multiple dynamic response roll bars have been replaced due to reported fluid leaks.

Upon inspection it has been found that no faults have been found with the roll bars. It is believed that many of the leaks reported could be coming from the piping, seals, interface or tightness of the bleed screws.

If a leak is found around the interface of the bleed screw to the actuator, confirm that torque is 15 N.m.

If the leak is found where the piston shaft comes through the actuator body, take into account that it is normal for grease to be present on the piston shaft. Excessive leakage can suggest that there is seal damage.
