This bulletin applies to 2019 Genesis G70 and G90, 2019-2020 G80, and 2021 GV80 vehicles.
The following DTCs may be stored where transmission clutch slipping occurs more than 200 RPM in gear:
P073100 (Gear 1 incorrect ratio)
P073200 (Gear 2 incorrect ratio)
P073300 (Gear 3 incorrect ratio
P073400 (Gear 4 incorrect ratio)
P073500 (Gear 5 incorrect ratio)
P072900 (gear 6 incorrect ratio)
P076F00 (Gear 7 incorrect ratio)
P073000 (Gear 8 incorrect ratio)
Connect a GDS and check for DTCs. Record and delete the DTCs. If any solenoid DTCs are found, refer to the shop manual and follow the repair procedure. If no solenoid DTCs are found, refer to the shop manual and replace the transmission.
