Replacing Ford catalytic converter

Some 2013-2018 Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles equipped with a 3.7L twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) engine may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P0420 and/or P0430.

If the vehicle was built on or before April 25, 2014, also reprogram the PCM using release 90.02 or later.

Some 2013-2018 Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles equipped with a 3.7L twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) engine may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P0420 and/or P0430.

If these are the only DTCs set, replace the affected catalytic converter. If the vehicle was built on or before April 25, 2014, also reprogram the PCM using release 90.02 or later.
