Correcting Jeep barometric pressure sensor reading

This bulletin applies to 2018 Jeep Renegade, Cherokee and Compass vehicles equipped with a 2.4L engine.

This bulletin applies to 2018 Jeep Renegade, Cherokee and Compass vehicles equipped with a 2.4L engine.

The MIL may be on and the vehicle may go into limp mode due to an inaccurate barometric pressure sensor reading. DTC P2226 (barometric pressure sensor) may be set.

Applicable vehicles:

KL vehicles built on or after Nov.14, 2017, and on or before Jan. 2, 2-18, equipped with a 2.4L I4 Multiair engine.

BU & FB vehicles built on or after Feb. 2, 2018, and on or before March 9, 2018, equipped with a 2.4L I4 Multiair engine.

MP vehicles built on or after Dec. 19, 2-17 and on or before Jan. 4, 2018, equipped with a 2.4L I4 Zero EVAP M-Air engine.

Replace the PCM. Use P/N 68342093AA for KL vehicles; 68342094AA for FB & BU vehicles; or 68342095AA for MP vehicles.
