• Correcting Jeep Renegade barometric pressure sensor

    This bulletin applies to 2018 Jeep Renegade vehicles that show a DTC P2226 (barometric pressure sensor).

    This applies to KL vehicles built on or after Nov. 14, 2017, and on or before Jan. 2, 2018, equipped with a 2.4L I4 Multiair engine; BU & FB vehicles built on or after Feb. 2, 2018, and on or before March 9, 2018 with the 2.4L Multiair engine; and MP vehicles built on or after Dec. 19, 2017 and on or before Jan. 4, 2018, equipped with a 2.4L I4 Zero EVAP M-Air engine.

    Customers may experience a MIL on and the vehicle may go into limp mode due to an inaccurate barometric pressure sensor. DTC P2226 may be stored. The fix involves replacing thew PCM.
