This bulletin applies to 2018 Jeep Cherokee, Renegade, and Compass vehicles.

This bulletin applies to KL vehicles built on or after Nov. 14, 2017, and on or before Jan. 2, 2018, equipped with a 2.4L I4 Multiair engine; BU & FB vehicles built on or after Feb. 2, 2018, and on or before March 9, 2018, also with the 2.4L engine; and MP vehicles built on or after Dec. 19, 2017, and on or before Jan. 4, 2018, with the 2.4L I4 Zero EVAP M-Air engine.

The MIL may be on and the vehicle may go into limp mode due to an inaccurate barometric pressure sensor reading. DTC P2226 (barometric pressure sensor) may be set. Perform normal diagnostics as service the baro sensor if needed.

If the vehicle is among the afore-mentioned vehicles only, the fix involves replacing the PCM.
