Suzuki has changed the shape of the transfer case rear output shaft oil seal on the 4WD Grand Vitara vehicles to improve sealing and prevent contamination.
The old seal P/N 09283-40035 has been replaced with new P/N 09283-40042. Dimension A remains at 40 mm. Dimension B changes from 70.2mm to 72 mm. Dimension C changes from 20.3mm to 23.3 mm.
