Toyota Changes Oil Seal
This bulletin applies to 2003-2008 Toyota 4Runner, 2007-2008 FJ Cruiser, 2005-2008 Sequoia, 2005-2009 Tacoma and 2005-2008 Tundra vehicles.
The extension housing oil seal for the 2WD A750E (five-speed rear-wheel drive) automatic transmission has been changed in production to a double-lip seal. The previous seal P/N is 90311-40001. The current seal is P/N 90311-40034. The previous oil seal is still available as a service part.
