This bulletin applies to 2011-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with electronic limited slip differential. The 4x4 lamp may be flashing (indicating a malfunction of the 4x4 system).
The ELSD actuator will require replacement if these DTCs are present. Replace the ELSD actuator with axle motor kit P/N 68084266AB. Reprogram the ELSD module with the latest software. The wiTECH software level must be at release 14.02 or higher.

- C148F-1D (rear differential measured motor circuit out of range)
- C1489-96 (rear differential motor brake...component internal failure)
