Jeep: Electric Power Steering

This bulletin applies to 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles. A lack of power steering assist may occur and the electric power steering (EPS) MIL may be illuminated. DTCs C1592-00 (electronic power steering motor circuit), C2217-00 (electric power steering module internal) and/or C1593-00 (steering torque sensor circuit) may be stored. Reprogram the EPS module with the latest software. Wait for 2 minutes after the flash has been completed. Then perform an EPS reset in the guided diagnostic menu from wiTECH. If the EPS module is not reset, this may cause the EVIC to display a service the ALM (active lane management) message.
