Jeep EPS Module
This bulletin applies to 2019 Jeep Renegade vehicles. The MIL may be on with DTC C1013-49 (half module faulty, internal electronic failure) and U1701-64 (electric power steering signal plausibility failure). Both DTC will set at the same time.
In addition, a lane assist malfunction feature not available message may be displayed, and the lane sense off message may appear in the EVIC while driving, simultaneously turning the lane sense off. The power steering system warning lamp will be illuminated.
Reprogram the EPS module with the latest software and clear all DTCs.
