Ford Focus Lacks Focus, Needs Reprogramming
Some 2015 Ford Focus vehicles equipped with a DPS6 transmission and built on or before February 4, 2015, may exhibit a MIL on, with only DTC P074C present or stored in the PCM.
Reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration level using IDS release 95.01 or higher. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Calibration files are also available at www.motorcraft.com. Using IDS or equivalent, select Powertrain, Transmission, Transmission Adaptive Learning and perform the Clutch Adaptive Learn.
