Need to Reprogram the Ford F-150

Some 2017 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P164C (internal control module start-stop performance) stored in the PCM. 

Some 2017 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine and built on or before March 1, 2017, may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P164C (internal control module start-stop performance) stored in the PCM. 

Reprogram the PCM using IDS release 104.04 or higher. Make sure that you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Calibration files may be obtained at www.motorcraftservice.com.
