Reprogramming F-150 Calibration

Some 2012-2013 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with a 5.0L engine and built on or before Dec. 4, 2012, may exhibit a buck/jerk under light throttle during parking maneuvers for the first 60 seconds after startup, with engine coolant temperature at about 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Some 2012-2013 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with a 5.0L engine and built on or before Dec. 4, 2012, may exhibit a buck/jerk under light throttle during parking maneuvers for the first 60 seconds after startup, with engine coolant temperature at about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration using IDS release 83.01 and higher. Calibration files are available at www.motorcraft.com.
