Jaguar TCM Requires Reprogramming

This bulletin applies to 2010-2013 Jaguar XF vehicles equipped with a TDV6 2.7L diesel engine, 3.0L diesel or 5.0L gasoline engine, 2010-2013 XJ vehicles equipped with a 3.0L diesel or 5.0L gasoline engine, and 2011-2015 XK vehicles equipped with a 5.0L gasoline engine.

This bulletin applies to 2010-2013 Jaguar XF vehicles equipped with a TDV6 2.7L diesel engine, 3.0L diesel or 5.0L gasoline engine, 2010-2013 XJ vehicles equipped with a 3.0L diesel or 5.0L gasoline engine, and 2011-2015 XK vehicles equipped with a 5.0L gasoline engine.

A clunk noise may be heard when selecting Park (P). This may be caused by a transmission control module software issue. Reprogram the TCM using JLR approved diagnostic tool SDD, DVD 142.06 and calibration file 215 or later.
