Fixing Jeep Power Lift Gate

Owners of 2011-2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with a power lift gate and built between March 1, 2010 and March 1, 2012 may complain that the power lift gate does not open or close under power. The technician may find DTC B1882 (power liftgate position sensor 1 circuit) is set.
