Jeep Air Suspension Has a Glitch

There are 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles showing an “air suspension cooling down – please wait” message frequently when no air suspension up/down requests are being made.

This bulletin applies to 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles built on or after Jan. 7, 2013. and on or before July 23, 2013, equipped with Quadra-Lift air suspension. The customer may note that an “air suspension cooling down – please wait” message appears very frequently when no air suspension up/down requests are being made. The customer may also note that the “Raising” icon in the electronic vehicle information center is falsely flashing for extended periods of time. Scan for DTCs and correct as needed before proceeding.

Reprogram the ASCM with the latest software.
