Jeep
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling 1,076,999 model year 2021-2025 Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the electric hydraulic power steering pump wiring may overheat and cause a fire, even when the vehicle is parked with the ignition off.
A vehicle fire increases the risk of injury. Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the vehicle is repaired.
Dealers will inspect and replace affected parts as necessary, free of charge.

BMW
BMW of North America is recalling 318,495 vehicles across nine BMW models built for model years 2021-2026, plus the 2021-2023 Toyota Supra. In the affected vehicles, wear on an internal component may cause the engine starter to malfunction.
In more serious cases, attempting to start the vehicle with a worn starter can generate enough heat to ignite a fire.
Dealers will replace the starter with a redesigned unit not subject to the wear condition, free of charge. Owners who already paid to replace a starter before the recall may qualify for reimbursement.
Dealer notification began July 8, 2026. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning Aug. 28, 2026. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417; Toyota Supra owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331.

Subaru
Subaru of America is recalling 541,237 vehicles, including certain 2019-2026 Ascent, 2025-2026 Forester and Forester Hybrid, and 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid SUVs. In the affected vehicles, the certification label lists an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating.
An incorrect weight rating may lead an owner to overload the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Subaru will mail owners a corrected certification label to apply over the original, free of charge. Owners may also have a dealer install the new label at no cost.
Interim notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning Aug. 25, 2026, with final remedy letters to follow in phases starting Jan. 7, 2027. Owners may contact Subaru customer service at 1-844-373-6614; Subaru's number for this recall is WRH-26.

Kia
Kia America is recalling 462,869 model year 2020-2024 Telluride SUVs manufactured between Jan. 9, 2019, and May 29, 2024. In the affected vehicles, the front power seat slide knob may become stuck, misaligned or damaged, causing the seat motor to overheat.
An overheated seat motor can result in a fire, increasing the risk of injury, whether the vehicle is parked or being driven. Owners are urged to park outside and away from structures until the repair is complete.
Dealers will install an electronic fuse assembly to prevent continuous operation of the seat motor if the switch becomes stuck, misaligned or damaged, free of charge. This recall replaces and requires a new remedy for vehicles previously repaired under recall 24V407.
Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed between Aug. 13 and Aug. 19, 2026. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542; Kia's number for this recall is SC374.
