ASE and WrenchWay Webinar to Cover 2026 Voice of Technician Survey Findings
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence and WrenchWay are hosting a free webinar on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. ET titled "Inside the 2026 Voice of Technician Survey—What Techs Are Really Saying."
The webinar will provide an exclusive first look at findings from the latest Voice of Technician Survey, drawing from more than 5,500 responses across the automotive and diesel industries. ASE and WrenchWay will break down key insights on what has changed, what remains constant, and where the biggest gaps exist between technician expectations and shop realities.
Participants will learn how the survey findings can be applied to improve recruiting, retention, and long-term workforce strategies. The webinar will address technician sentiment around pay, benefits, and job satisfaction, as well as what technicians value most in employers and where shops are missing the mark.
The presentation will also examine differences across segments, experience levels, and shop types, and explore emerging trends impacting retention and career longevity. The webinar will conclude with discussion on how shops, educators, and industry leaders can use the data to drive workforce improvements.
