Mitchell 1 Scholarship Application Now Open
Mitchell 1 has announced it is now accepting applications for its annual Automotive Technology Scholarship, a program designed to support students pursuing careers in the auto repair industry. High school seniors and college students in the U.S. and Canada are encouraged to apply through March 31, 2026.
"We're proud to continue our sponsorship of the Mitchell 1 Automotive Technology Scholarship as it helps students build the technical knowledge and real-world skills they need to pursue rewarding careers in vehicle maintenance and repair," said Cami Hermann, director of marketing at Mitchell 1.
Award Details
The selected recipient will receive:
- A $2,500 scholarship.
- A check for $500.
- Roundtrip airfare and accommodations for the winner and a guest to attend the North American Council of Automotive Teachers NACAT conference, held June 15-18 in Sacramento, California.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must be current students majoring in automotive technology or auto shop repair coursework and meet the following criteria:
- Nomination from their NACAT instructor.
- Minimum overall 3.0 grade point average.
- Planning to attend or already enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen.
Students can apply online through the Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Central website. By completing a single application, students will also be considered for multiple other scholarships for which they may be eligible. The streamlined application portal allows candidates to view scholarship details and update their information until the March 31 deadline.
