Chevy Trax Terminals

This bulletin applies to 2013 Chevy Trax vehicles, where a service brake assist message is shown, along with DTC C025E Symptom 5A set. 

Chevy notes that parts replacement is not required to address this condition. It is likely that a poor connection exists at the connector from the auxiliary brake assist vacuum pump motor.

Disconnect and inspect the terminals. If no concerns are found, fully seat the connector, clear the DTCs and re-evaluate. If wiring repairs are needed, refer to GM bulletin 10-00-89-005.
