This bulletin applies to 2010 – 2017 Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles. Any combination of the following DTCs may be present:

C0196, C0186, C0287, C0710, C0045, C0050, C0800, U0073, U0074, U0077, U0125, U0126, U0100, U0101, U0121, U0415, U0432, U0121 and/or U0140.

Customers may comment on any one of the following message conditions:

  • SES MIL
  • Service ABS
  • Service Traction Control
  • Service AWD
  • Service Suspension Control
  • Service Power Steering

These concerns may be caused by corrosion in the X411 connector, located under the rear of the vehicle, behind and to the left of the fuel tank. To correct the concern, replace the appropriate terminals/connector at X411 as needed.
