Order from Bestway Express for 16 Dual-Fuel system installations.

Clean Air Power, the developer of Dual-Fuel combustion technology that enables heavy duty diesel engines to operate on a combination of diesel and natural gas, is pleased to announce a new order in the U.S.

The order is from Bestway Express for 16 Dual-Fuel system installations in the U.S. in which Clean Air Power’s technology will be applied to a Caterpillar 410 horsepower C12 engine. The solution uses a legacy product within the Company’s product range which is now able to be sold in the US due to recent changes in US emissions legislation.

The Company expects that the niche opened by this recent legislation change will provide further sales opportunities in 2012 and support the development of a mass market products for the US and the recently announced commencement of production in Europe.

Commenting on the order, John Pettitt, CEO of Clean Air Power, said:

"We are delighted to be able to re-enter the US market which historically has been the most successful for Clean Air Power. Awareness and demand for natural gas vehicles is high in the US and the abundant domestic gas supply provides both financial and energy security incentives for US operators to adopt our technology."
