TSB: Ford Bronco Fuel Over-Filling

A software-related issue in some 2025 Ford Bronco vehicles can trigger a MIL with DTC P2450. Reprogramming the PCM addresses this, and customers should be cautioned against topping off the fuel tank beyond the first automatic shutoff to avoid over-filling and related issues.

Ford Bronco Fuel Over-Filling

Some 2025 Ford Bronco vehicles may exhibit a MIL with DTC P2450 stored in the PCM. This may be due to a software level issue. Reprogram the PCM using the latest version of the FDRS to update the SOBDMC, ABS and BECM.

Inform the customer that the condition may have been caused by over-filling the fuel tank. Advise them not to top-off the fuel after the fuel pump nozzle automatically shuts off for the first time.
