The MIL may be on accompanied by DTC P044200 (EVAP small leak) and P045600 (EVAP very small leak). The EVAP leak detector pump (GX36) calibration is too sensitive, causing a false leak detection. An optimized GX36 was introduced in 2022 model years. The optimized GX36 is not backward compatible with previous model years.
