This bulletin applies to 2025 Kia EV6 vehicles, regarding inspection and replacement of the high voltage battery cooling system 3-way valve on certain vehicles built from August 21, 2024 through July 7, 2025 which may display a MIL on and DTC U112800 (lost communication with hybrid/EV battery electronic coolant valve “A”) due to a voltage deviation within the 3-way valve. There are no drivability issues associated with this condition. If this DTC is set, replace the 3-way valve following steps outlined in the service manual.
