TSB: Jeep Won't Take Fuel

This bulletin applies to 2024-2025 Jeep Renegade, Commander and Compass vehicles built on or after January 8, 2024 and on or before December 13, 2024. The customer may have difficulty refueling. The cause may be loose or disconnected fuel tank breather tube/fittings.

1. Raise the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the three screws securing the fuel pump access cover.
3. Inspect the fuel breather tube connections to the fuel pump.
4. If the breather tubes are not connected, remove the red tamper-proof cover and connect the two breather tubes to the fuel pump. Reinstall the access cover and seat cushion.
